Dear Friend of Recovery,
Rockland Council on Alcoholism & Other Drug Dependence, Inc. (RCADD) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization providing substance abuse prevention and recovery support services to the Rockland Community.
September is National Addiction Recovery Month. Now in its 32nd year, Recovery Month celebrates the gains made by those in recovery, just as we celebrate improvements made by those who are managing other health conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and heart disease.
Each September, Recovery Month works to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the emergence of a strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and community members across the nation who make recovery in all its forms possible.
As part of this national public awareness campaign, RCADD will hold a CAR/BIKE Show as we are Rev’d Up for Recovery on Sunday, October, 3,2021 at the Smith Street Commuter Lot in Nanuet, NY. There will be vendors, raffles, music, food trucks, and more! The festivities begin at 10am and end at 4pm.
The event will help educate and support people affected by substance abuse disorders, educate the public that addiction is a treatable disease, and celebrate the lives of those who have gained and sustained recovery. Please support Recovery for the Rockland County Community residents who have lost loved ones, persons in recovery, friends, family members and allies of Recovery.
We expect over 300 participants and we could really use your help, so please consider making a donation. Your contribution to our event will go a long way in making our Rally successful and allow us to continue to support recovery though our services.
Click on the Sponsorship Opportunities button below or at the top of the page for an explanation of the donor levels and to complete the form and submit your donation.
Any and all donations would be deeply appreciated and are tax deductable.
